BACKGROUND

 

I learned to ride a bike at a very young age and it's always given a me a great sense of freedom. I started mountain bike racing at the age of 14 and travelled to various Scottish Cross Country events around Scotland in my teens and into my early 20's, having made podium places and wins in a few events along the way. I also trained on the road bike to gain fitness for racing and took part in some local North of Scotland time trial events. 

 

Cycle repair and maintenance of your own machine was an integral part of racing and something I started to learn at a young age, as my father used to cycle and repair his bike. 

 

Away from the racing scene, I became more of a recreational rider and continued to maintain my own bikes and friends. It something I was always handy at and could turn my hand to most maintenance tasks, learning lots over the years.

Fast forward to the end of 2017 and a conversation with my main job colleague changed things. He mentioned that I should have another job in my spare time and do something that I was good at and really enjoy. The seed was planted for a cycle repair and maintenance service....

 

In April 2018 LC24 Cycle repair was born, opened and since then has went from strength to strength.

 

With over 20 years experience, I aim to provide a high quality service for customers and help them get the best out of their bikes.

My business is ran from home in Alness, worked round family and main job commitments.

 

Early morning and evening bike drop off and collection is available. 

 

We are fully insured and Velotech Platinum Certified. 

​

We have numerous trade suppliers and parts only can be supplied from most major brands. Large stock of spares held to get you back up and running quickly. 

 

All cycles including E Bikes catered for.

Secure cycle storage provided. 

​

We are also Wattbike service agents and work on their behalf.
